Whether I have the privilege of serving as your therapist, clinical supervisor, workshop leader or spiritual director, I strive for you to feel that you can share your true self, without fear of judgement, and know that together we can work toward your goals.
Embark on a personalized journey of self-discovery with our therapeutic services. In therapy sessions, I create a warm and judgment-free environment where you can freely share your concerns and hopes. Together, we identify specific goals and recognize the inherent strengths and skills you already possess. Whether in English or Spanish, my goal is to empower you on your path to healing using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Sand Tray therapy. In our supervision sessions, I draw from my experience providing bilingual individual, family and group therapy in a variety of settings including schools (elementary, high school, universities) health clinics and group private practices. I have been lucky enough to have incredible clinical supervisors and colleagues in New York, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Miami, and often consult with my network to help provide new social workers guidance and support. My multicultural background is an important part of my identity and I encourage social workers to reflect on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion within supervision. Finding the right clinical supervisor is an important step, so feel free to schedule a consult with me to see if we may be a good fit.

As described by author Teresa Blythe “Spiritual direction is a contemplative practice of examining and exploring one's spiritual path with a person trained in listening, discernment, and deep reflection." The image of three chairs is a commonly used metaphor to explain the practice of spiritual direction, given that it involves conversations between three entities: the spiritual director, the person seeking spiritual guidance, and the Divine.
Spiritual direction is open to individuals of all faith background, usually takes place about once a month and is not a replacement for therapy. While as a therapist my goal is to assess mental health symptoms and create a treatment plan to help us address these challenges, in my role as a spiritual director, my goal is to create a sacred space to allow you the opportunity to explore and deepen your spirituality. To learn more about this practice, feel free to visit the website Spiritual Directors International and/or book a consult call to see if this may be a good fit for you at this point in your spiritual journey.
